Are you ready to turn your passion for climate justice into tangible, grassroots action? Anthropocene Alliance (A2) is seeking a dynamic and driven Community Organizing Intern to join our team in New Orleans. As the nation’s largest coalition of frontline communities, we serve as a powerful engine for change, connecting over 400 member groups across the U.S. to combat systemic environmental inequity, pollution, and the escalating impacts of climate change. This is a unique opportunity to work directly with our Louisiana Statewide Organizer, gaining hands-on experience in the movement to secure a safer, more equitable future for those most affected by environmental crises.
In this role, you won’t just be observing—you will be an essential part of the organizing machine. You will assist in building capacity for local leaders, facilitating coalition-wide communications, and supporting the strategic initiatives that help frontline communities win their fights for justice. We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, deeply committed to social equity, and ready to engage in the daily work of movement building. If you are a student or recent graduate looking to sharpen your organizing toolkit and make a genuine, lasting impact on the frontlines of the climate movement, we invite you to join our mission at A2.
