Community Organizing Intern- (Unpaid)

At Anthropocene Alliance (A2), we represent the largest national coalition of frontline communities standing up against the escalating threats of pollution and climate change. As a Community Organizing Intern, you will step onto the front lines of the environmental movement, working directly with our Mississippi Statewide Organizer to empower local leaders and amplify the voices of those most impacted by systemic environmental inequities. This is not a desk job; it is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the grassroots strategies that drive real, lasting change across the United States.

This internship is designed for motivated students and graduates who are eager to develop professional organizing skills in a high-impact, mission-driven environment. Based in Biloxi, Mississippi, you will gain firsthand experience in coalition building, community outreach, and advocacy, all while supporting our network of over 400 member communities.
