Director of Software Engineering - Remote Platform Leader (Richmond)

Solvd US is hiring a Director of Software Engineering to lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of a modern C#/NET platform. You will manage multiple teams, set standards for APIs, and drive modernization while balancing greenfield work with legacy systems. You will partner with executive leadership to align engineering with business priorities, mentor managers, and champion quality, security, and TDD across the organization. J-18808-Ljbffr

Requirements

• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, JS, Java, etc.).
• Understanding of software development life cycles and version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
• Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
