Are you an ambitious developer looking to bridge the gap between cutting-edge software and industrial-grade hardware? Condition Monitoring Technology Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Technology team, where you will play a pivotal role in evolving the systems that power our global operations. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of modern .NET development and specialized engineering, where your code will directly influence how we monitor and analyze high-stakes data. We are looking for someone who thrives on technical complexity and is eager to tackle the rewarding challenge of integrating modern C# applications with robust, legacy native systems.

In this role, you will be the architect behind sophisticated interfaces, utilizing your deep understanding of C#, C++/MFC, and COM to create seamless connectivity across our software ecosystem. While your primary expertise will be in the .NET framework, we value those who appreciate the intricacies of software design and aren't afraid to dive into the details of digital signal processing or data acquisition. If you have a passion for electronics and a drive to solve real-world engineering puzzles—and perhaps a touch of experience with Delphi Pascal—you will find a collaborative environment here that rewards technical curiosity and architectural foresight. Join us at a salary of £45,000 - £65,000 and help us define the next generation of condition monitoring technology.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, JS, Java, etc.).
  • Understanding of software development life cycles and version control (Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to technical detail.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
