Tax Staff Accountant – NYC - Fully Remote

This is a remote position. About the role This is a preparer-level seat on the tax team. You will prepare 1040s, 1065s, and 1120-S returns under senior review. You will work in CCH ProSystem Fx Tax, QuickBooks, and our internal practice management system, on EST hours. Besides tax return preparation, you will also be involved in bookkeeping preparation and review, direct client communications, and other tax and compliance matters as needed. Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling).
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial calculations.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ethical standards and understanding of regulatory compliance.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; progress toward CPA/CFA is a plus.
